If you live in the Vancouver, WA area and file either Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy you will need to attend a “Meeting of Creditors” approximately one month after you file your bankruptcy. For Vancouver area bankruptcy cases this meeting is held at the Vancouver Federal Building: 500 W 12th, Second Floor Vancouver, WA 98660. This hearing location will apply if you live in the following counties: Clark, Cowlitz, Pacific, Skamania and Wahkiakum.

After your case is filed, the Bankruptcy Court Clerk will mail you a notice of the exact date, time and location of your Meeting of Creditors. If you have any questions about the notice you should immediately call your bankruptcy attorney.
